Air raid alerts sound for the sixth time in a day and for the first time all over Ukraine on Saturday, according to an online map tracking the alerts.

Alerts earlier sounded in the capital Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as in Ukraine's Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions.

Alerts were also canceled in the Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy and Kharkiv regions, as well as in parts of the Zaporozhzhia and Donetsk regions controlled by Ukraine.

The Ukrainian media reported explosions in the Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions, and also in the cities of Kyiv, Kriviy Rih, Kharkiv, and Dniepr, but added they may be due to the work of the air defense systems.

In Kharkiv, the metro line was suspended due to explosions, and in the city of Lviv a piece of "critical infrastructure" was damaged.

Air raid alerts sound in Ukraine on an almost daily basis due to missile and drone strikes that have targeted the country's civilian and energy infrastructure, especially since last October's blast damaging Russia's bridge to the occupied Crimean Peninsula.
