ANKARA

AC Milan confirmed the signing of French goalkeeper Mike Maignan from Ligue 1 champions Lille.

"The goalkeeper has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until 30 June 2026 and will wear the number 16 jersey," the Serie A side said on Thursday.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper played 180 games for Lille since 2015, and helped his team win league title in the 2020-2021 season.

He is also part of the French national team's squad for EURO 2020.
