ISTANBUL

Turkish construction company Karmod has introduced the Metrolux cabin to its range of luxury prefabricated structures, the company announced in a statement on Friday.

The newly developed cabin is designed to meet aesthetic and comfort expectations in a ready-to-use format, according to the statement.

Karmod's General Manager, Zekai Kucuk, said the new cabins incorporate modern architectural aesthetics to enhance user ergonomics.

"The Metrolux cabin model provides an ideal security solution for branded residential and commercial projects," Kucuk noted. "Clients who undertake branded construction projects naturally expect security cabins that align with their project standards."

Enhanced comfort and safety features

Kucuk highlighted the features designed to enhance the comfort of security personnel.

"We use stone wool insulation material in the wall blocks of Metrolux for optimal insulation. This ensures the best climate control within the cabin with minimal energy consumption. Stone wool, classified as A1 non-combustible, provides safety assurance for the personnel," he explained.

Ready-to-use design, versatility

Kucuk shared that the Metrolux cabin is produced as a ready-to-use structure.

"The main structural system in the floor, wall, and roof consists of steel metals. The insulated wall and roof system is fully covered with aluminum composite panels, both inside and out," he said.

The company offers seven different standard sizes ranging from two square meters to 10 square meters for the Metrolux model.

"We also offer custom production for larger sizes or different layouts. Some of our designs include security cabins with integrated toilets. All our security cabins are tailored to specific project requirements and are produced ready for use, eliminating construction processes and craftsmanship issues at the site. Once produced, the cabins are transported to the site and immediately ready for service," Kucuk added.
