Türkiye's BIST 100 closes midweek in the red
Benchmark index decreases 53.10 points at closing session, extending its loses to a third session

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Wednesday at 10,638.58 points, down 0.50% from the previous close.
Extending its loses to a third session, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 fell 53.10 points with a daily trading volume of 94 billion Turkish liras ($2.82 billion).
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,467.45, while Brent crude oil sold for around $80.38 per barrel as of 6.33 p.m. local time (1533GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 33.1119, the euro/lira exchange rate 35.8426, and the British pound traded at 42.5182 liras.
